TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

By using your Crustello product, you agree to the terms of this warranty. If you do not agree, return the product unused in original packaging within 14 days for a refund.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Sensor Unit - Two (2) Year Limited Warranty

The Crustello Smart Bowl sensor unit (lid-mounted sensor, electronic components, 65K color display with Gorilla Glass, battery, and hardware) is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase.

Bowl Unit - Delivery Warranty Only

The bowl plastic component is warranted against defects only until delivery. Once delivered and accepted, the bowl is no longer covered except for defects existing at delivery and reported within 14 days.

14-Day Return Period

You may return any Crustello product within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, provided it is in original condition and packaging.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty applies only to Crustello-branded hardware products in original packaging. It does not cover:

• Non-Crustello hardware or accessories
• Software, including the Crustello mobile app
• Third-party products or accessories
• Damage from failure to follow product instructions

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

For Both Sensor and Bowl:

• Damage from accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, or external causes
• Operating outside published guidelines
• Service by non-authorized personnel
• Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or opening of the sensor unit by the customer or non-authorized service providers
• Use with non-compliant third-party components
• Normal wear and tear or aging
• Stolen products
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, chips, cracks, discoloration) unless caused by a manufacturing defect

For Sensor Unit Only:

• Battery degradation (except within first year due to defect)
• Display coating damage (unless manufacturing defect)
• Display defects with fewer than 5 dead pixels (unless concentrated)

For Bowl Unit:

• Any issues discovered more than 14 days after delivery
• Normal wear, scratches, staining, or discoloration
• Breakage after delivery (unless proven manufacturing defect at delivery)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Backup

Periodically sync fermentation history, recipes, and logs to the Crustello app or cloud. Crustello is not responsible for data loss during warranty service.

Proper Use

• Follow the user manual and published guidelines
• Clean and maintain as instructed
• Keep sensor within operating range (0°C to 40°C / 32°F to 104°F)
• Do not submerge the sensor in water or liquids
• Handle bowl with reasonable care

WARRANTY REMEDIES

If you submit a valid warranty claim, Crustello will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the sensor using new or equivalent parts
• Replace the sensor with same or similar model
• Refund your purchase price
• Replace the bowl only if defect existed at delivery and reported within 14 days

All replaced parts become Crustello property.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

1. Initial Contact

Contact Crustello support with:

• Description of defect or malfunction
• When defect was noticed
• Purchase location and date
• Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, invoice)
• Product serial number (on sensor unit)
• Photos or videos of defect (if applicable)

2. Warranty Evaluation

The support team will evaluate your claim and determine eligibility.

3. Shipping Instructions

If approved for warranty service, you will receive detailed packing and shipping instructions via email.

Important Packaging Requirements:

• Remove sensor from bowl and wrap separately in bubble wrap or protective material
• Place sensor in sturdy box with cushioning on all sides
• Use original packaging or equivalent protective packaging
• Consult with our visual packing guide

Courier Requirements:

• Warranty returns MUST use Crustello's designated courier service only
• Pickup instructions will be provided by email
• Using any other courier service will VOID your warranty
• Customer pays shipping to service center
• Crustello covers return shipping within original country of purchase

Important: Failure to follow packaging instructions may result in warranty denial or additional charges.

4. Service Timeframe

Warranty service will be completed within 30 business days of receipt. You will be notified of any delays.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Crustello is not responsible for:

• Loss of product use, data, time, or opportunity
• Cost of substitute products
• Damage to other property
• Loss of ingredients or dough
• Indirect or consequential loss
• Data recovery costs
• Shipping costs for warranty service
• Food spoilage, food safety issues, allergic reactions, or foodborne illness
• Quality, taste, or texture of baked goods

Maximum Liability: Crustello's total liability cannot exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Implied Warranties: To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are limited to 2 years for the sensor unit.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Transferability: This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase from Crustello itself.

Warranty Updates: Crustello may modify this warranty. Changes apply only to products purchased after the modification date.

Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Florida for the resolution of any disputes, except where consumer protection laws of your country provide greater protection.
